QUALITY STORE CATTLE FROM AUCTERBLAIR CARRBRIDGE

The Stirling family have farmed at Auchterblair for 3 generations, the farm covers 1500 acres which includes 450 acres of arable ground with the remainder being rough grazing and hill. At 850 feet above sea level in the heart of the Cairngorms it is a challenging place to farm.

Their beef suckler herd of 220 cattle is managed by split calving with half the cows giving birth from March to May to the Simmental bull and half calving from September to the Limousin bull to produce home-bred replacements.

The family has sold through Aberdeen and Northern Marts (ANM) for over 40 years and consistently achieve good averages for both their yearling stots and heifers.
